Scams and Scones: Stay safe online with expert help

Online scams are on the rise. This workshop will help people to identify and prevent scams online.
Catriona Foorde from West Coast Cyber is on a mission to make cybersecurity simple, engaging and part of everyday life.
Topics covered in this session:  
• Some of the most common scams and the techniques criminals use to target their victims. 
• A hands-on security check on attendees' devices
• A walk-through on how to set up multifactor authentication.
Ideal for people with minimal technology experience or awareness of cyber risks. 
The hands-on presentation will be followed by a morning tea of scones, jam and cream.
