Event Description
Join local Cockburn children’s author Terri Owbridge for a buzzing story time as she shares her delightful new picture book, Bees are Blue. Young readers will discover the fascinating world of our native blue‑banded bees—tiny backyard superheroes. The fun continues with a hands‑on craft activity where children can create their very own blue‑bee mask to take home. Terri will also introduce her friendly stick insects, stars of her first book, Sticking Out, giving kids a chance to meet these quirky creatures up close. Books will be available for purchase on the day.
