Spearwood Storytime - Children's Book Week
Friday 28 August 2026 at 10:30 AM
Spearwood Library
Event Description
Celebrate Children’s Book Week® with Cockburn Libraries! During this session, your storyteller will share special Book Week stories, plus win one of three books to take home!
To see the full list of this week's celebrations, check out our blog post.
Come to the library to hear great stories and to join in on songs and rhymes, before you make a masterpiece of craft to take home.
Storytime encourages a love of reading, stimulates kids’ imaginations and offers an opportunity for social interaction.
Talk, sing, read, draw and play every day.
Your storyteller will share fantastic picture books, stories, songs and rhymes. Parents, grandparents and carers are all welcome. Sessions involve a craft activity and adults are essential to this part of the session.
Sessions are weekly and last between 45 minutes and an hour.
