Event Description
Join us for an exclusive evening of suspense, intrigue and criminally good conversation featuring some of Australia's most acclaimed crime writers alongside exciting new voices in the genre for Penguin Noir's WA debut.
Be among the first to hear Rachael Johns and Mercedes Mercier introduce their forthcoming new series, #1 Insta Detectives. They will kick off the evening with this exciting exclusive, in conversation with Michael Trant.
A panel conversation will follow with Scott Westerfeld and Justine Larbalestier, authors of the action-packed gothic thriller The Mortons, and Margaret Hickey, whose latest novel, Cold River, returns readers to the rugged Victorian High Country.
Penguin Noir Nouvelle Crime Talent Mercedes Mercier writes ‘just-one-more-page’ crime with twisting plots and relatable characters. As well as writing books, Mercedes has worked in the criminal justice system for over a decade, giving her unique insight into the world of crime and offenders.
