Butterfly Magic

Step into a world of transformation, colour, and wonder.

This enchanting, hands-on workshop facilitated by Eco Action introduces children to the magical life cycle of butterflies through interactive experiences, sensory exploration, and creative art. Participants will discover how caterpillars grow, transform, and emerge as beautiful butterflies, while learning about habitats, food sources, adaptations, and the important role butterflies and moths play in our ecosystems. Participants may have the opportunity to gently hold or even feed a butterfly, creating a memorable and meaningful connection with living creatures. Children will also explore real caterpillars and chrysalises, observing different stages of the life cycle and discussing the changes that occur during metamorphosis. The workshop concludes with a range of butterfly-themed art activities.
